To drive the internationalization of the biomedical industry, Taipei Medical University (TMU), BE Health Ventures, and Show Chwan Health System (SCHS) recently co-hosted the "TMU × BE × SCHS Demo Day." The event successfully brought together cutting-edge healthcare tech startups from 7 countries to showcase the future of medical innovation.

This year's Demo Day focused heavily on "Clinical Validation" and "Cross-Border Collaboration." By combining the extensive clinical resources of TMU and SCHS, the initiative directly addresses startups' needs during the Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Business (PoB) stages. This strategic support significantly shortens the typical bottlenecks associated with medical regulatory reviews and clinical trials.

The organizers emphasized that this deep alliance between healthcare systems and international venture capital does more than just help exceptional Taiwanese teams break into global markets. It also attracts high-potential foreign startups to set up operations in Taiwan and expand into the Asia-Pacific region, working together to build a more robust and scalable global medical innovation ecosystem.
