Professor Li specializes in innovation, healthcare finance and venture capital. He holds a PhD from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and his research has been published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies, focusing on the financial effects of innovation and the dynamics of competition in the healthcare system.
In this talk, Prof. Li will provide an overview of the financial landscape of the biotechnology industry in the U.S., explore the role of the Asia-Pacific region in the global healthcare supply chain, and analyze the recent U.S. presidential election and other important policy issues such as drug pricing. All industry, academia and research professionals interested in this topic are welcome to attend.
